For years I would attempt to lose the weight I’d put on over the past couple decades with varying degrees of success, but I could never keep it off. Then I’d gain it back and more, sound familiar? Enter 2020. Going through a challenging year taught me a lot. That life is short and our health is all we’ve got. And it is urgent and imperative we make the most of it. I watched my parents struggle the last 6-7 years of their life due to lifestyle induced health challenges, and knew it was time to make changes for my personal health once and for all. I’ve never been much for fanatic hard-core workouts, but I found activities I love like walking, stretching, dancing, and light weight lifting. I also adopted a different eating approach. With these two simple steps, I feel the best I’ve felt in decades! No more inflammation, achy joints, brain fog, or low energy. I’m proud to say that I feel amazing. And when you feel amazing, you look amazing.
